Merge PDF

Add your PDFs, then hold and drag the pages into any order — across files too. Remove pages, then merge. Text stays selectable and nothing leaves your browser.

Merge PDF files into a single document right in your browser — combine several PDFs, reorder or drop individual pages across files, then export. Nothing is uploaded: every file is processed on your device, so your documents stay private and the tool keeps the text in each PDF selectable.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Add your PDFs. Click to pick PDF files or drag them onto the page — each PDF opens as its own row of page thumbnails.
  2. Reorder pages and files. Hold and drag any page to move it within a PDF or onto another PDF's row, and use the up/down buttons to reorder whole documents; they merge top to bottom.
  3. Drop pages you don't need. Hover a page and hit the remove (×) button to leave it out, or tap a page to open a large preview first.
  4. Merge and export. Press the "Merge" button in the floating bar to combine everything into one PDF, then download or continue in the export screen.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. The merge happens entirely in your browser on your own device — your files never leave your computer or phone, so nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored online.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

Yes, it's completely free and there's no sign-up. Just open the tool and start merging.

Does the merged PDF keep its text?

Yes. Pages are copied intact, so selectable text, links, and layout are preserved rather than flattened into images.

Can I reorder pages or combine pages from different PDFs?

Yes. You can drag individual pages into any order, move a page from one PDF onto another, reorder whole documents with the up/down buttons, and remove pages you don't want before merging.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. It runs in any modern mobile or desktop browser, and you can drag pages by holding and moving them on a touchscreen.

How many PDFs can I merge, and what about password-protected files?

You can add as many PDFs as your device's memory allows since it all runs locally. Encrypted PDFs are handled where possible, but very large files depend on your device's available memory.
