Privacy Policy
The short version: Your documents are processed entirely on your device — in the app, or locally in your web browser — and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. Signing in is optional; if you do, we store your email address so we can sync your Pro upgrade across your devices and platforms. We also use Google for ads and analytics, and RevenueCat to process purchases. You can delete your account, and the data tied to it, at any time.
1. Who we are
DocSolutions (“the app”, “the site”, “we”, “us”) is a document-tools product for iOS, Android and the web, published by imAutotech. You can reach us at support@imautotech.in.
2. Your documents stay on your device
Scanning, viewing, converting, merging, compressing, protecting, signing and every other document tool runs entirely on your device — in the mobile app, or locally inside your web browser. We do not upload, store, transmit, read or back up the files you process. On the website, your files are read into the browser tab only; close the tab and nothing of the file remains. Your document contents are never sent to our servers or to any third party.
3. Optional account & sign-in
You can use DocSolutions without an account. Signing in is optional and exists only to carry your Pro (ad-free) upgrade across your devices and platforms. If you choose to sign in, we use a passwordless email “magic link”:
- We store your email address and an associated account identifier in our backend (Supabase), together with your entitlement record (whether your account has Pro, and any expiry).
- We do not set a password, and we never store your document content against your account.

4. What we and our providers collect
- Email address & entitlement — only if you sign in, as described above (stored in Supabase).
- Purchase data — RevenueCat. When you subscribe to “Remove ads / Pro” in the mobile app, RevenueCat validates your purchase receipt with Apple or Google and records an app user identifier and purchase/transaction details so your entitlement can be restored and synced. If you are signed in, your purchase is linked to your account so Pro unlocks on your other devices. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
- Advertising — Google AdMob (mobile) / Google AdSense (web). On the free, ad-supported version, Google may collect a device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS / Advertising ID on Android), or cookies and similar identifiers on the web, plus general device/browser information, an IP-derived approximate location, and ad-interaction data. See the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites/apps that use its services.
- Analytics & diagnostics — Google / Firebase Analytics. We use Firebase / Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage (events, app/site version, device type, approximate region) and basic diagnostic information such as crashes, so we can fix bugs and improve features. It is not tied to your document content.
- Feedback you submit. If you send feedback, we store the message you write and, if you choose to provide it, the email address you enter, so we can respond and improve the product. This is stored in our Supabase backend.
The Pro / ad-free version contains no advertising and makes no advertising-related data collection.
5. Who processes your data
- Supabase — backend that stores your optional account email, entitlement records, and feedback. Privacy policy.
- RevenueCat — processes and syncs purchase/entitlement data. Privacy policy.
- Google — AdMob/AdSense advertising and Firebase/Google Analytics. Privacy policy.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Consent and tracking choices
- EEA, UK & Switzerland: before any ad request, you are shown a Google-certified consent prompt (UMP in the apps, the AdSense consent message on the web) so you can accept or decline personalized ads.
- iOS: the app requests App Tracking Transparency permission before using the advertising identifier. If you decline, ads still work but are not personalized.
- Reset / opt out: you can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings, and manage ad cookies in your browser, at any time.
7. Permissions we use
- Camera — only when you use the document scanner. Captured images are processed on-device / in-browser.
- Files / photos you choose — accessed only for the file you pick; we don't scan your storage.
- Internet — used to load the site/app, to sign in and sync Pro if you choose to, and by the ad and purchase services on the free version; the document tools themselves work offline once loaded.
8. Deleting your account & your data
If you signed in, you can permanently delete your account at any time:
- In the app: go to Settings → Delete Account and confirm. This permanently erases your account, including your stored email address and entitlement records, and unlinks Pro on your other devices. It can't be undone.
- On the web: if you are signed in, open the account menu (top right) and choose Delete account.
- By email: you can also contact support@imautotech.in and we will delete your account data for you.
If you never signed in, there is no account to delete — your documents live only on your device. You can also clear the app's local data or your browser data, reset your advertising identifier, and uninstall the app or close the tab to remove everything locally. For the limited ad/analytics data handled by Google, use the controls and policies linked above.
9. Children
DocSolutions is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
